Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin announced they are reuniting The Smashing Pumpkins and recording a new album Zeitgeist. Former members James Iha* and D'arcy Wretzky* are not involved, neither is Melissa Auf der Maur* who replaced D'arcy on the Machina (farewell ) tour.
